These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to your use of our website and online content, and to enquiries and bookings for hair and makeup services made with Samantha Hall Hair and Makeup, whether via website, email, telephone or social media.
They sit alongside our separate Hair & Makeup Service Agreement, which you may be asked to sign for specific bookings. If there is any conflict between these Terms and the Service Agreement, the Service Agreement will take precedence for that booking.
By using our website, making an enquiry or booking services with us, you agree to these Terms.
1. About us

2. Services
We offer a range of mobile hair and makeup services, including but not limited to bridal hair and makeup, bridal party and special occasion styling, nail services, hairstyling and custom beauty packages. The exact services, prices, date, time and location for each booking will be agreed in writing before the appointment.
3. Bookings and deposits
A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. Your booking is not fully confirmed until we have confirmed availability and received the deposit by the specified date. For bookings over £100, the remaining balance must be paid at least 7 days before the booking date; for bookings under £100, the balance may be paid on the day before the appointment is completed. If payments are not received by the due dates, we may cancel the booking and retain any deposit paid.
4. Changes, cancellations and rescheduling by you
You may request to reschedule a booking up to 4 weeks before the service date, subject to availability. Rescheduling with less notice may be refused or may incur fees. The deposit is non-refundable in all circumstances. Once any payment has been made, no refunds are given due to the tailored, time-specific nature of the services.
5. Cancellations and changes by us
If we need to cancel or significantly change your booking, we will notify you as soon as possible and offer to reschedule or refund payments for services not yet provided. We are not responsible for additional costs you may incur as a result of our cancellation.
6. Travel, accommodation, parking and waiting time
Travel is charged at 55p per mile (round trip) from our address, unless otherwise agreed. Journeys of more than 2 hours each way carry an additional travel time charge of £20 for every hour, or part hour, beyond the first 2 hours. For bookings more than 1.5 hours' travel from our address, an overnight stay the night before is usually required. Accommodation is charged at cost, with the estimated amount confirmed at booking, plus an overnight fee of £75 per night. Both are added to the deposit and are non-refundable once the accommodation is booked. Parking, tolls or congestion charges may be added at cost. Where there is a delay of more than 30 minutes caused by you or your party, we reserve the right to charge £20 per hour, rounded up to the nearest 30 minutes.
7. Trials
Bridal and event trials are charged separately unless otherwise stated, and are strongly recommended for bridal bookings. We cannot guarantee identical results on the day due to differences in conditions.
8. Client responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate information about allergies, sensitivities or relevant medical conditions, ensure the service area is clean, well-lit and has suitable facilities, and ensure your party is available at agreed times. We are not responsible for adverse reactions where information was not disclosed.
9. Hygiene, products and safety
We follow reasonable hygiene standards and use professional-grade products. We reserve the right to refuse or stop services where we consider it unsafe, unhygienic, or where a client behaves inappropriately.
10. Photography and social media
We may take photographs of finished looks for our portfolio, website and social media unless you opt out. You may withdraw permission at any time by contacting us.
11. Website use and intellectual property
All content on our website is owned by or licensed to us. You may view, print or download content for personal, non-commercial use only. Prices, services and availability may change without notice; the price confirmed in your individual quote applies to your booking.
12. Liability
We provide services with reasonable care and skill, but are not liable for adverse reactions where you have not disclosed allergies, issues from failure to follow aftercare advice, or delays caused by events outside our reasonable control. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the relevant services.
13. Complaints
If you are unhappy with any aspect of our service, please contact us as soon as possible at info@samanthahallmakeup.com so we can try to resolve the issue.
14. Data protection
Our use of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, available on our website or on request.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
